Reticulation Samples

"Indian Wedding 1"
Base coats with black breaking through the sifted colors,
details with transparents over reticulation, hearts in red
opaque.

"Indian Wedding 2"
See caption above.

"Landscape"
This piece is on copper which was too thin (22 ga.).
During the reticulation firing the silver melted through to
the
base metal, causing a eutectic reaction, leaving a burnt-out
mess. I stoned the damaged area back to the bare metal
and wet-packed transparents. The piece took three or
four extra firings to repair but became much more
interesting
in the process.

"Abstract"
The enamel pitted under the foils, creating an interesting
texture
